![]() ![]() As for Thumper, that was his first pose before I changed it to his famous thumping posture. Originally, I was going to make a new vector of Bambi in a different pose, looking around at the falling leaves. ![]() I then decided to have it posted today on the last day of the month autumn will be drawing to a close in three weeks, and winter will come in like a lion. In fact, I finished it by the 20th, but I struggled to find the date to submit it. This was something I'd been thinking about for a couple of months. And I'm sure you had a feeling that I would make a My Little Pony-styled fall project starring everybody's favorite deer. That's right! Fall or autumn is still with us. All the while, Bambi, his mother, his friends, and all the animals and creatures of White Tail Wood will continue to enjoy the beauty of fall in their life in the woods. An Earth Pony going for a hike through the woods will probably hear two leaves conversing with each other, wondering what will happen to them when they fall from their tree. Until then, the plants and animals will make the most of what they can get before their struggle. And most importantly, the green of the woods that transitioned into warm colors will disappear in a world of white. Reptiles, amphibians, bugs, and some other mammals, like bears, squirrels, chipmunks, bats, and Flower himself, will hibernate through the months due to their food sources becoming scarce during then. Mammals, like Bambi, his mother, and their herd, will grow winter coats to keep them warm during the coldest and most difficult season of the year. But in time, the last leaves in the forest will fall, the doubtless sign that soon everything will be different. So, Bambi and his friends and family would keep a sharp eye and keen ears on the huge cat's presence, never giving it a chance to catch its quarry.Īutumn is here. Its black-striped, orange coat blending in with the rusty colored foliage of the autumn bushes and shrubs. And fall might be easier for it to stalk its prey. This natural deer hunter strikes fear into the hearts of the forest's cervine inhabitants. There is even a tiger prowling through the woods. Predators, like wolves, lynxes, bears, cougars, eagles, and jaguars, and fearsome mythical creatures, like Timberwolves, Ursas, and Manticores, are everywhere. However, even during fall, White Tail Woods can be a dangerous place. Bambi would even wish to take part in the marathon it looks like fun! Before the coldest time of year arrives, Bambi and his friends, mother, and all the other forest animals would also watch as the pony participants of the Running of the Leaves would come galloping by, down the trail through the woods shaking the leaves from the trees. And also, because the days would grow shorter and the nights longer, he would be up earlier and have a feast on the nimbus clouds rolling in, bringing rain and eventually snow and sleet for winter. Some animals would also join them in their fall fun, like Faline, Perri the red squirrel, and although he would have no interest in playing around, Friend Yowl, the wise, old Shriek-Yowl (read the bottom of the description), would join in watching the leaves fall. And if there was a big enough pile of leaves, they would romp around in it, like the foals and fillies of Ponyville themselves would. And whenever the autumn wind would blow, they would chase them around. He and his friends, Thumper the rabbit and Flower the skunk, enjoy this special season. ![]() Meanwhile, a little fawn would find his forest home very beautiful - Bambi! It all means nature is preparing for its long winter sleep. They would especially fall in great quantities when the ponies of Ponyville take part in the annual Running of the Leaves marathon, when the participants shake the autumn leaves off the trees with the pounding of their footsteps. The warm-colored leaves would then fall to the ground. The grass slowly joins in on the long sleep, growing less and turning yellow. Many of the animals would be busy building their winter homes, some hibernating throughout the cold, bitter months until spring returns. The forest, no longer green and bright, has slowly become shades of red, brown, orange, and golden. Fall has come back to White Tail Woods! The leaves have changed colors.
